Also known as paper collars, or celluloid collars, these were basically a disposable collar, sold by the dozen, and meant for only a few wears. They fasten to the back of a collarless shirt’s neck band or collar stand, with a collar stud, (Oh! Is That what those are for!!) and a button or 2nd stud in front. Collar studs are easily confused with the dress-studs for the front of the shirt) You can easily make a collarless shirt from a modern one with a pair of scissors, a bright light and a steady hand.
Our on-the-shelf sizes go from 12″ up to 19″, and are a seriously stiffened, yet flexible cotton.
