Do you despair of ever finding a hat that really fits you, and suits you? You’ve come to the right place. Our hats are made using a combination of traditional and modern materials, equipment, and techniques. To be honest, we do not have the steam-powered felting and hat-blocking equipment of the Victorian era. Nor do we have the working conditions of that Empire.  We aim for a historic look for the modern person. The discerning eye will notice some differences between extant hats in museums and ours. Our hats are water resistant, colour-fast, and comfortable.  When we make you a hat, we make you a hat, starting from materials such as wool and satin, combining these with various stiffeners, and finishing it by hand. Our hands, right here in Nova Scotia. And because of this, there is no need to despair, because we can make one to fit your specially sized head.
